It’s true… We are certifiable!

Well I say we, what I actually mean is Barny our lead developer is.

We are thrilled to announce that he has become one of the UK’s very first Magento Ecommerce Developers! Here are PureBlue we love the Power of Magento, and none more so that our dear Barn. In fact if you are lucky enough to brave the Morpeth Arms in Pimlico on a Tuesday night, (or a Wednesday or a Thursday come that…) you will find Barn regularly regailing the clientele with stories of the wonders of Magento.

It’s quite a sight, though we are not always sure the pretty young ladies appreciate just how exciting Magento really is. However we can understand why he gets excited – and so can the team at Magento. So much so in fact they have posted a link all about him on their website.

Have a look by clicking here.

We are all very proud of all he has achieved, and we know we have one of the finest developers in in the UK at our web design london offices.

Keep up the good work Barny!!

I’m a village bicycle….

Yep – I said it. I am Village Bicycle. Quite a confession I think you will agree. Well I’m afraid this week we have a been the Village Bicycle here at our London Web Design offices, and I’m afraid it’s not what your think…

This week has already seen the launch of our latest Magento Eccommerce site for the cutting edge London Boutique and lifestyle store “The Village Bicycle” – a entirely fashion-focused boutique and website based in Central London “designed to encapsulate the energy and vibrant creativity from London and around The World. The lifestyle boutique sells a wide range of products from Women’s Wear Apparel (including Lingerie, Shoes and Accessories) to Art, Furniture and Music.”

They came to PureBlue looking for a clean and edgy design that really bought the spirit of their Portobello shop to life online, they are pretty thrilled with the results, which you can now view on www.imavillagebicycle.com.

Keep and eye out for it as the PR kicks in now and the Village Bicycle website is due to appear in the pages of Vogue and Grazia in the non to distant future. I wonder if we will get a mention!

The next stage is the mobile website and sage integration – oh the fun we have!

Our intrepid web developer has returned from his transatlantic trip to the in San Francisco with brand new insights into the future of ecommerce and a bag full of gifts.

Matt was lucky enough to receive an exclusive Xcommerce t-shirt while Ross was so delighted with his special Xcommerce USB stick that he said he would take to Twitter to express his joy.

If we can get some photos of Matt wearing the t-shirt, we will be sure to post them online to this blog and our Facebook page.

Barny is set to apply his new knowledge to future web design projects in order to give our clients cutting-edge ecommerce solutions that will keep them one step ahead of their competitors.

It has been non-stop action in our offices today as we have also been busy celebrating the birthday of our amazing accountant Claire with cake and delicious doughnuts all round. Many happy returns!

The brand new web design was launched yesterday after the finishing SEO touches were completed and they have already indexed highly in Google for the majority of their chosen keywords thanks to our on-page optimisation.

PureBlue were first employed by Elizabeth Street Dentist a year ago to redesign their homepage and start a SEO campaign after becoming neighbours in the London Victoria area.

This completion of this project demonstrates that PureBlue are not just all about creating sites for massive multinationals like Unilever, we can help business of all sizes with our web design London skills.

We are also delighted to declare that our web developer Barny has landed safely in San Franciso and he is now raring to attend the Xcommerce Innovate Developer Conference tomorrow.

The PureBlue team are missing Barny greatly, which is largely due to the fact the supply of homemade chocolate flapjacks and banana muffins has dried up.

Bon Voyage Barny!

Our web developer Barny has flown out from Heathrow T5 this morning to attend the Xcommerce Innovate Developer Conference in sunny San Francisco.

While we are not sure whether he’ll be wearing flowers in his hair, we are certain that he will take this opportunity to improve his Magento understanding and learn all about the exciting new world of xcommerce.

Xcommerce is a new open commerce platform that integrates technologies from eBay, PayPal and Magento making it ideal for everyone from online retailers to web developers and customers.

PureBlue are committed to enhancing our ecommerce expertise and this means being at the forefront of xcommerce so that we can provide our clients with websites that contain cutting-edge solutions.

We wish Barny a safe flight and hope he returns with plenty of information about the latest developments in the ecommerce environment but preferably not any slideshows of his evenings out in California.
